# Delta Lektorat

> Delta Lektorat is a Swiss academic editing and coaching company that provides professional proofreading, editing, and personal coaching for Bachelor's, Master's, PhD/doctoral, project, diploma, and CAS/DAS/MAS/MBA theses, serving students in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. The company works with 250+ experienced editors and has edited 3,000+ academic papers for students from 104+ universities and colleges.

Delta Lektorat is led by founder Dr. Meriton Ceka and offers two main service tracks: editing/proofreading (language correction, style, formatting, citations, plagiarism checks, AI-rewrite) and coaching/support (structure, research methodology, writing, presentation skills). Pricing for editing, proofreading, and coaching is calculated online per project based on word count, delivery time, academic level, and selected services. The currency shown is determined by the customer's location, not by which language version of the site they use: customers based in Switzerland see prices and receive their offer in Swiss Francs (CHF), while customers based anywhere outside Switzerland see prices and receive their offer in Euro (EUR), using the same numeric amount. All content below uses the English-language version of the site (paths under /en/).

Over 40 editors cover a broad range of subject areas, including economics, law, psychology, medicine, engineering, natural sciences, and humanities. Every paper is assigned to an editor with a matching academic background. Where possible, Delta Lektorat assigns editors who studied at the same university or institution as the client, since they know that institution's specific requirements and standards firsthand.

**Confidentiality & data security**: Delta Lektorat treats all submitted documents as strictly confidential and protects them with strict security protocols throughout the entire editing process. Personal data and papers are not shared with third parties; confidentiality applies both to the content of the work and to customers' personal information.

  - **Self-implementation by the student**: Language Editing & Proofreading, AI-Rewrite, Scientific Writing Style, and Citation Editing are applied directly as tracked-change suggestions, which the student can accept or reject. Content-related feedback (e.g. on the Red Thread Check or Comprehension Check) is provided only as comments/suggestions, not implemented directly — the student makes the actual changes.
  - **Implementation by Delta Lektorat**: The same tracked-change corrections are applied as above. In addition, content-related feedback on coherence or comprehension is implemented directly, which can include: adding concrete examples, writing transition text, linking to relevant literature, rewriting sentences for clarity, drafting critical appraisals, rewriting/"humanizing" AI-generated sections, and making all corrections needed for a submission-ready paper. Not included: writing entire missing chapters — in such cases comments with suggestions are left instead. This option involves more effort and is priced accordingly higher than self-implementation.
