Gregor Gehrcke holds a degree in economics (Humboldt University of Berlin) and has extensive expertise in editing a wide variety of academic texts—ranging from qualitative, empirical bachelor’s theses on Gen Z’s labor market preferences in the context of “New Work” to quantitative research papers on the correlation between interest rates and cryptocurrency price trends. After completing his studies, during which he focused primarily on the functioning of financial markets and the history of banking systems, he worked for several years in the tourism industry in Norway. Upon his return to Germany, he was able to fully pursue his passion—the written word—as a career: As an online editor at an e-commerce company in the entertainment industry, he learned the professional handling of texts across a wide range of genres from the ground up. His unflagging intellectual curiosity eventually led him to the small but specialized niche of academic coaching and editing, where he has been working full-time for various clients since 2022.
