Greta Malaj is an environmental specialist and editor with a strong academic background and a passion for precise and impactful scientific communication. Her educational journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and two Master’s degrees—one in Environmental Biotechnology and another in Environmental and Agricultural Engineering. This interdisciplinary training allows her to approach environmental topics with both technical depth and policy insight.

Professionally, she has over six years of experience in environmental consultancy, policy development, and project implementation, with a focus on EU-aligned practices in Albania. She has contributed to environmental impact assessments, waste management strategies, biodiversity protection, and the drafting of environmental policy papers. Alongside this, she has gained substantial experience in proofreading and editing technical documents, project proposals, and academic texts—ensuring clarity, coherence, and scientific accuracy.

Her research and editorial interests include climate change mitigation, bioremediation, sustainable development, and environmental compliance.
