Dr. Thomas Pfeiffer studied economics in Freiburg, Germany, and subsequently earned his doctorate at the Center for Economic Studies at the University of Basel, Switzerland. During his time as a research assistant, he supervised numerous students on their term papers and theses and served as an editor for an economics journal. Thomas then spent 25 years in the media industry as a product and project manager and editor-in-chief for print and online publications as well as legal databases. For several years now, he has been coaching and supporting students in completing their bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses.

Thomas has extensive experience in author support and text editing. He is just as familiar with collaborative partnerships, joint topic development, and coaching before and during the writing process as he is with dealing with writer’s block. He places great emphasis on the readability and clarity of academic papers, as this facilitates access to the topic and ultimately has a positive impact on the final grade.
